Land Ops - The Off Road, Navigation and Amateur Radio Search Club
Scott Holcomb will be riding with me out to Broadwell. He was formerly scheduled to go to Cuddeback, but no one from Cuddeback spoke up to give him a ride. Once we are at Broadwell, we will try to place him with another driver and he can navigate for the Op.

Operators...you will need the following information for this upcoming event...Below are two links to Trip Information Sheets, that contain Waypoints to the Base Camp at each location. Please download the sheet for the location you will be attending so that you can find the Base Camp. As always, a Net Control will be established at each base, and they will be monitoring 145.555 simplex, as well as the Big Bear Repeater, which should provide coverage in both locations (this is yet to be determined). We will be holding a Net Saturday evening at 8:00 pdt on 3.905...if frequency is busy, move up a few MHz until you find us.

I will be in Pismo Beach, which is 177 miles due west of Cuddyback Lake. I'll have HF on the mobile. I'd like to try a NVIS contact. Can we coordinate a date/time/freq for me to try and check in to the net? I'm a new member and I haven't been out with you folks before, but I think it would be a fun exercise. Bill, W6NEO

I am good for Cuddyback.
