DETWILER FIRE: Fire map shows affected area around Mariposa. Mariposa is 27 miles straight line to south end of Bass Lake. Bass Lake is 5-6 miles from our AO. TOdays fire looks to be about 32 miles NW of our AO. Will continue to monitor. Will be prepared to relocate op if fire is not contained and heads our way.
I'm beginning to look at the use of terrain along with the anticipated number of vehicles.
Two ops being planned. Day and night (starts near sunset), checking now for time of sunset.
