The leadership team for the East Mojave Trek, co-sponsored by Cal4Wheel and the MDHCA (Mohave Desert Heritage and Cultural Association) are seeking some additional trail leaders to assist with the upcoming East Mojave Trek taking place April 23-26, 2026 in Goffs, CA near Needles.  This is the home of the Goff's historic schoolhouse among other great historic memorabilia.  The trails well follow certain segments of the East Mojave Heritage Trail, which encompasses over 700 miles of trails and roads in the East Mojave Preserve.

Trail leaders will have to pay a modest food reimbursement fee, and be members of both Cal4Wheel ($50) and the MDHCA ($50).  Three hot Breakfasts and three Dinners are provided.   If you have always wanted to explore this area and/or to lead a trail in the area, please reach out to me and I will get you in touch with the leadership group.
