Just got it and programmed it. A few tricks using the software, but it's similar in programming to my Anytone dual band mobile. Ordered a hi gain Comet antenna. Will probably use it as GMRS radio more than Ham, but nice to have all in one package. Of course GMRS requires license too (WQOX450) so another reason for Land Ops members to get licensed for the bands. You can't monitor both bands though. You have to turn on and select Normal (ham), Part 95 (GMRS) or Part 95 (MURS). Buts it's a pretty solid radio.
