    Hi Jim.

Coming from the healthcare field, I wanted to share that parks across the country are encouraging folks to pursue outdoor activities and camping during this time. These activities provide natural separation and fresh air, not to mention mental health,  as opposed to places such as cooped up in airplanes, conference rooms, and other tight quarters where viruses easily spread.

I have no concerns about this event.

    Thank you.

    Anne

    Kenny,

Thank you for being thoughtful in your decision.  I know that we all hope you feel better soon and look forward to see you on the next Op.

    Jim, Candy, all

Last 3 days, I've been fighting off what appears to be a cold, no symptoms of fever, etc., however, with covd19, I'm not going to take chances being around people, so I pulled my registration and will not be there. I've contacted my medical provider and waiting further instructions.

To ensure your safety and that of others during this Land Ops expedition (and any others in the future), we ask that you please:

    •  Stay at home if you feel unwell or have a sick family member in your home.
    •  Avoid contact with people who are sick.
    • Wash your hands with soap and water or use hand sanitizer frequently and for the 20 seconds that authoritative sources recommend.
    • Avoid shaking hands and instead use an alternative greeting.
    • Avoid close contact with other guests.
    • Avoid touching eyes, nose or mouth.
    • Cover your mouth with your upper sleeve or with a tissue when coughing or sneezing.
    • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
    • Limit food sharing
Again, as the most recent email pointed out, use your good judgement.  We are monitoring to see if any government travel restrictions get put into effect and will respond accordingly.

Candy and I will not make it until Friday but one of our favorite places nearby is fonts Point in Anza Borrego.  Mini Grand Canyon of Southern Calif.  Coordinates are 33.257833, -116.232667.  Lots of dispersed camping in the area.

    See you then.

I registered some time ago, but hit a wrong button and says "wait listed".  I am still going, Jim.
