Overland Style Recon on the Historic Mojave Road

This will be limited to 7 vehicles to comply with the Mojave Preserve rules.  The group will meet up with the Mojave Road Base Camp group on day 2.  If you are signed up for this you do not need to sign up for the Base Camp Event.

The group will depart from Avi Casino, which is the last fuel stop before starting the Mojave Road.  Be sure to fill a spare fuel can, as the nearest fuel is about 75 miles of offroad distant.

• Thursday 8:00 AM Drivers Meeting
• Thursday 9:00 AM Depart for Mojave Road.  Camping first night around Government Holes (about 49 miles)
• Friday 9:00 AM Depart from camp.  Camping around Black Tank Wash 35.18554, -115.84438 about mile 80 to join the Base Camp Group.
• Saturday 9:00 AM Depart from camp to travel across Soda Lake, Afton Canyon and return to Base Camp.
• Sunday Depart for exploration to the South or TBD
