East Mojave Preserve/Goffs

Land Ops will be doing trail clean-up near the town of Goffs in the East Mojave Preserve.

• Camping will be at the MDHCA facility in Goffs, CA, which is home of the Goffs Schoolhouse.  They have campsites, with water available, as well as toilet facilities.  They are allowing us to camp free since we will be volunteering to clear brush on some trails.
• There is a need to do this to help prevent the closure of trails from non-use.
• Bring gloves, rakes, shovels, tree loppers, hedge trimmers and plastic bags for trash.
• Early arrivals may come on Thursday or Friday.
• Plan to purchase fuel in Fenner off of Interstate 40, or Ludlow off Interstate 40.  Goffs is about 10 miles North of Fenner exit off Interstate 40.
• Work party is planned to depart by 10:00 am to travel to trails to clean up.
