Land Ops has participated in the QuartzFest activities for several years but is not planning a demonstration Op this year.   We have not yet determined our involvement with the event at this time, but stay tuned.  Land Ops encourages its Operators to head out after the Chuckwall Op to experience all that Quartzfest has to offer.  The Land Ops group will be camped approximately at 33.585032,-114.220890 (subject to change), which is approximately 5 miles south of Quartzite, AZ

What is QuartzFest? 
QuartzFest is a week-long ham radio, camping, learning and living event. QuartzFest 2025, celebrating its 30th anniversary, is an ARRL Specialty Convention being held January 19 to 25, 2025 near Quartzsite, Arizona. No other hamfest in the world brings together in one gathering so much innovation in mobile antenna systems, mobile ham shacks, recreation vehicles, portable and mobile EMCOMM systems, off-the-grid living, alternative energy and radio education.  Surrounded by miles of desert, hundreds of ham radio operators arrive in RV's, Vans, Tents, etc. for this week-long event.  This is the place to come to learn about solar, antennas, radios and other fascinating subjects.
