OPAL MOUNTAIN, CA - Full Desert Recon Saturday Oct 7th, 2017 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM optional camping overnight on Saturday

Camping - Friday evening and Saturday evening for those who are interested in staying.
Base camp team will arrive Friday afternoon to and acquire an available base camp suitable for this operation.

How to find us: Find these base camp options on a map, GPS, or tablet. We plan to be at one of these locations. Go to them and look for Land Ops logos on vehicles and or Land Ops Flag.

If you are new and think you need help navigating in, don't be afraid to ask for help in the comments below or coordinate to follow someone in.
Net Control Station planned for reporting route conditions, open and closed route info.
Join the teams of Land Ops as we navigate the entire area around Opal Mountain, Black Mountain, Inscription Canyon all the way to Fremont Peak and Cuddeback dry lake. There is a chance we will be scouting all the way north to Red Mountain.

We will be covering more ground and mapping new routes this time on Saturday Oct 7th, 2017
RECON / SCOUT Teams will be assigned to check trail conditions, open routes, and terrain conditions that are favorable for up coming nav-comm and night ops.
Saturday Morning - Orientation/Briefing and Assignments
Saturday Afternoon - Team trail assignments. Drive, navigate and report trails and conditions to net control.
