Unfortunately I can’t make it Thursday, but I’ll be there at the rendezvous to meet everyone
I am considering heading over that way day before and spending Thursday night in the area. I'v not been to Salton Sea and thought I might check out the Visitor's Center and a few other sites in the area before we head out on the trail.

Is anybody going out to this event the day before? I am probably going to.
