On scene. 2N01 from the 38 is OK. 3N03 from the 18 not passable without hard work about two miles north of Rose Mine. Needs trail build up and spotting to get through... Large rock followed by deep hole plus camber.

I will be going up tomorrow (Friday) after work.

We will be doing the normal Saturday evening 80 meter net from Big Bear. 3.905 LSB at 8pm.

Thanks for the update, for safety I will plan on heading up 330 and drive through Big Bear City early tomorrow.

I reviewed the map and it looks like the bridge repair is limited to a ¼ mile section of the road.  If you are entering from I10 - Redlands via Hwy 38 you will pass thru the construction area.  Delay will depend on the amount of traffic on the road.

Like Jeff said you can avoid this construction entirely if you enter from 210 Fwy – Highland via Hwy 330 to Hwy 18 in Running Springs then past Big Bear City to Hwy 38 (Greenspot Blvd) to 2N01 (34.207298, -116.737914) turnoff.

    SR 38

    [IN THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AREA]
1-WAY CONTROLLED TRAFFIC FROM 8.7 MI WEST OF ONYX SUMMIT /AT SOUTH FORK RD/ TO 8.5 MI WEST OF ONYX SUMMIT /AT FRONT LINE RD/ (SAN BERNARDINO CO) 24 HRS A DAY 7 DAYS A WEEK THRU 2359 HRS ON 9/28/18 - DUE TO BRIDGE WORK

Just a heads up that Hwy 38 may not be your best option for access.  The 330 might be a better option depending on where you are coming from.
