I will be positioned at the Grandview Aid Station from the beginning of the race until all of the runners have finished the race or removed from the course.  I am attaching a spreadsheet for the communication operators working the event.

I also have attached a Google Earth KMZ file containing the race course and Aid Station locations.  If you have a problem using this Google Earth KMZ file PM me or reach out to me at n6kzm@outlook.com

We will be conducting mesh network testing on Sunday, July 15.  So far, John Emig W6CYS, Gerry Walsh KB6OOC, John Minger AC6VV and I are planning to participate in the testing.

    Here are our test objectives:

    1.  Set up a relay node on Bertha Peak (Russ/JohnE).  Start at first light.  After we get the relay node setup, we can meet the rest of the team for breakfast at about 9:00 am at  Dennys.

    2.  Set up a mesh node and a server for Runner Track in the Village near the Start/Finish area.  (JohnE, JohnM, Gerry)

    3.  Set up a mesh node and a laptop with Runner Track at Holcomb Valley.

    4.  Set up a mesh node and a laptop with Runner Track at Sugarloaf (Russ)

    5.  Run tests of mesh connectivity and Runner Track between the sites.

    6.  If time permits, set up mesh nodes and laptops with Runner Track at the Dump, Bear Valley (Russ), Start/Finish (JohnE, Gerry) and Aspen Glen (JohnE, Gerry).  Run tests of mesh connectivity and Runner Track over the mesh.

Let me know if you can participate

    Dale,

The race starts Friday morning and ends Saturday afternoon.  Most of the aid stations are open for a period of eight to ten hours when the runners are due along that part of the course.  However, the runners pass through some of the checkpoints more than once, so some checkpoints open on Friday morning, close Friday afternoon and then reopen on Saturday.  Here is the schedule John Emig sent me several weeks ago.

    Russ
