Dual-Base Operation (twice the fun) Broadwell / Cuddeback
Saturday November 10th, 2018
Op Overview: This is a unique Land Ops exercise that involves two separate teams in two separate regions with two separate net control stations performing a synchronized nav-comm op. The two basecamps will be established approximately 60-80 miles apart. Each participant will be preassigned to a team and location prior to the op.
BASE #1 -The Broadwell Base – a basecamp will be setup near Broadwell dry lake or perhaps slightly north of Broadwell. Either way the base will be known as the “Broadwell Base”
BASE #2 -The Cuddeback Base – a second basecamp will be setup near Cuddeback dry lake or perhaps closer to Fremont Peak. Either way the base will be known as the “Cuddeback Base”
Basecamp Notice: Both basecamps are rough camping. Please provide your own toiletry plans.
Ideal team size is 5-9 operators per team (3-5 vehicles per team) and 2-3 members at net control.
